Monthly Prayer with Archbishop Nienstedt

In cooperation with St. Thomas University, Coadjutor Archbishop John Nienstedt will lead a “lectio divina” prayer session for college-age young men and women on the evening of the first Sunday of each month (excluding January) from October through next May.  Lectio Divina is a method of prayer and scriptural reading intended to promote communion with God and to provide special spiritual insights.  It is a way of praying with scripture that calls one to ponder, listen and, finally pray from God’s Word.

The prayer service will take place from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m at the Florence Chapel on the St. Thomas University campus in Saint Paul (Cleveland Avenue side.)  A brief reception with refreshments will follow the service.

First Sunday of Each Month

8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Friday Sports Night

Gather every Friday night for an evening of fellowship as we play sports and end with prayer.  We now include board games into our nights as an extra activity this winter.  We will remain indoors throughout the winter, and move back to Rahn Athletic Field in the summer.

May - September: 6:00-Dark: Rahn Athletic Field, 4400 Nicols Rd, Eagan, MN 55122

Oct - April:  6:30-9:00pm: St. Thomas More School, 1065 Summit Ave., St. Paul, 55105.

The Cathedral Young Adults and Nativity Young Adults invite all young adults (18-39 years of age) to join them every Friday night (6:00- 9:00 PM) for some prayer AND sporting fun (like Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, etc.)!!

Don't feel like playing? Come on by anyways for some fellowship and Christian community!

For anyone who would like to continue the fellowship afterwards, we will be going to the Green Mill Brewing Co. located at the intersection of Hamline and Grand: 57 S Hamline Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55105. There's a parking lot on the other side of Grand from the restaurant and plenty of street parking.

Young Adult Mass

The Cathedral Young Adults are inviting you to attend Mass at the parish where you are a member, or if you are looking for a community to belong to, we encourage you to attend Mass at the Cathedral.  We have noticed a number of young adults at the 10:00 a.m. Mass, and to form community, coffee and donuts are served after the Mass on the 1st Sunday of every month.  On other Sunday's, you can bring a few friends and go out for coffee or brunch after Mass!
