Archdiocese Commits to Further Action Following Fulfillment of Ramsey County Settlement Agreement

Ramsey County District Court Judge Teresa Warner today discharged the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis from Court oversight of its safe environment policies, practices and procedures. The oversight was a result of the December, 2015 Settlement Agreement between the Archdiocese and the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, for the Archdiocese’s failure to protect children in the case of former priest, Curtis Wehmeyer.  Here are the documents filed today with the Court, including Ramsey County’s Cultural Assessment of the Archdiocese and the Archdiocese’s commitment to continue creating and maintaining safe environments:
